What Happens if a Card Machine Breaks Down?
A recent article by Anne Widdecombe in the Daily Express highlights a problem with card payment machines not working properly.
She recounts a 5-hour train journey with no refreshments available because the card machine would not work – and apparently couldn’t be fixed there and then.
Of course, machines do sometimes fail, and nobody can guarantee that a machine will never break down. The question is: what can be done about it if that happens?
Wouldn’t it be helpful, in that situation, if the operator could simply call Customer Support in the knowledge that a technical expert would access the machine remotely – and in all probability fix the issue promptly?
That is just one of the advantages of becoming a Dojo client.
Another is that the card machine will work even when out of range of your WiFi – useful if you have very large premises, or if you deliver goods and take payment at the customer’s address – or on a moving train!
